Me sleepy.

I'm up to make little sandwiches for Alina's sparkly fairy princess and llama's 21st birthday. Everyone loves little sandwiches!

Tonight I have to pack and get an early night because I have to get a taxi to the airport at seven - which is actually a far more reasonable hour than most of my morning flights and I hope it won't be too crowded on the roads. It cost Ali $70 to get back from there the other day when it's usually a $40 journey. Ick. But I have cash and if all goes wrong I'll walk the last of it! (Sadly not enough money to go buy some new earphones though so I'll have to be on the plane with the ones I have that one work in one ear. This is annoyance.)

Also, if the earth starts shaking shit up and the airport gets closed I'm going to be muchos pissed off. They will hear my rage across the sea. So... just keep it down, tectonic plates. Be cool. (I'm coming BACK to the city you broke so nicely for me, don't worry!)

Still haven't packed. Packing is for losers.

Oh! The world didn't end, I just noticed! Although I haven't seen Lara this morning so it is very possible she has been raptured. Alison and I have to prepare ourselves for this inevitability. We will had to eat all the noms ourselves and get someone to watch the cats while we're away.
Dammit! I missed seeing the Christchurch-based zombie movie at the film festival. Did anyone else in this fair city manage to go see it, and if so what did you think? It looked like it could have been a lot of fun. Very Shaun of the Dead but with added New Zealand.

I might drag Alison along to see Teeth because, lol, vagina dentata. And she wants to go see Let The Right One In which may or may not be about vampires, as I wasn't listening all that well when she told me about it.

The movie that should be showing is Repo! because, dammit, I'm way too excited about that muscial. But considering the fact that it is apparently only going to be opening on ten screens across the US, looks like I'll be waiting for DVD for this one. Bastards. But, mmmm, Anthony Steward Head should always sing. That man is so damn sexy. The Graverobber is also very hot. (And he reminds me of Alexei a lot.)
Jen is making LASAGNE tonight. Lasagne, peoples! Get excited! I am!

My room is cleaner than it's been in about six months and I'm finding it rather novel not to have to wade my way through/jump over large piles of crap just to get between door and bed. The idea of not having to watch where I'm stepping is indeed a strange one. I even dusted! (Do not panic, my dear friends. I promise it shan't happen again. I am far to delicate to continue such an atrocious activity.)

I've been murdering people in Darker London. We may have had a wee school massacre in-game and I got to kill two there, and I just find I can't stop myself now. (I love Gloria far more than I should, the poor evil messed up girl ♥) I'm so pleased I have more characters than anyone ever needs. It means more for killings! Yay! I take out all homicidal rage on imaginary people so I don't get in trouble for it in real life. Speaking of homicide, I wants the third Dexter book, dammit. The library hasn't got it yet and I'm the fifteenth person on the hold list. Argh, it's going to be forever.

And, finally, from the wonderful Overheard In New York

Woman: How dare you?! How dare you?! How can you say that? How can you tell my child I don't love him? Apologize! Apologize!
Man: It's a dog.
Woman: How dare you?! Apologize right now!

I'm trying very hard to fight the urge to curl up on the couch and watch Army of Darkness with a cup of tea. *chews lip* This may be inescapable. Besides, AoD is always a suitable beginning to a night that will end at drinking at Sporagmos. Actually, The Dreamers is sitting in Ali's room. I'm going to reeead instead!
