I totally just showed my mum Repo! The Genetic Opera and she was totally enjoying it. Bwahaha. Score another to our team. (She's perhaps not converted as I doubt she'll ever watch it again, but she was interested and entertained.)

This means I've introduced every one of my friends to Repo and all of my parents! (All meaning mum, dad and my stepmum... who apparently didn't quite enjoy it so much. Heh.) Although I miss the forum days pre-movie, but just because I can't really keep up with stuff now because there's so many people and things there.

Noithing makes for a good night like a bottle of wine and Repo! and I am quite happily buzzed. Except no one else seems to be online to keep me entertained. You bastards.

Hahaha, mum just came back out and said "save me some pictures of that graverobber man and set one as my desktop... and I wouldn't mind if it was the Repo Giles either." She is SO caught.
I talked to my little brother on the phone today. In my mind he's seventeen still but he's turning twenty-one in March. It's all wrong. He sounds like a grown up man-person and he's about six-four apparently.

He and his girlfriend have been together for five years in April, and he told me he's going to propose then. They're also trying for a baby.

My face = :O to every single thing in this post.

Although he's apparently a big BSG fan which means we have something in common for what might be the first time ever.
One of my favourite things in the world is bussing on a hangover. Oh baby, there is nothing more exciting. (I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE.) But I have no progressed from my deadly morning times to now just feeling kinda groggy instead. But that's fine because Ali and I have Buffy season three to be watching and junk food to watch it with. TAKE THAT, WORLD. Nothing can make anything bad right now.

Party last night was really good and people were to bright and colourful. For those who are unaware I was wearing FLUORO ORANGE TROUSERS. That's a sight that you will never see again. People were fun and awesome - Dollhouse, I ♥ you and your parties.*

Tonight I sort out travel details for August and then I can email parentals about flights. I am going to rock Sydney and Nimbin ♥

*Me: Hey, they all live in the Dollhouse... but that don't really exist in an innocent childlike state.
Alison: *snort* That would be the very opposite of what they are.

TV, you lied to me again.
Hey baby! I'm back in the USSR! And by that I, of course, mean New Zealand. And I thought I had some really fascinating things to say here but now that I'm typing I'm proving myself wrong on that front.

Tasmania was good, if a little weird. Everything was all very the same except for me. And, as predicted, I did in fact have the brightest hair in all of Devonport. (But, of god, Devonport has not escaped the scene kids. They're there as well. Not so much with the emos, but the horrible eighties hair with the lawnmower cuts and the random sections of bleach? Oooh yeah. All over the show.)

Got to see both Arsène Lupin and Golden Compass which is basically so much Eva Green that I was in the land of gorgeous happy. It's a good land.

I'm so glad I don't have to fly anywhere for a long time. I'm rather sick of planes right now, and not entirely fond of car trips either as we drove from one end of Tasmania and then back again. At least I got a few hours with a Nikki and a Lewi at Melbourne on the way over. That was beyond awesome to see them :)

I'm losing days. I thought it was NYE tonight but it's not, is it? Alison is confusing me by telling me there was a party! (Unless there is and it just isn't NYE? I'm so out of the loop!) Or is it, in fact, New Year's Eve? Hello? Where am I? Who am I? Will someone please return me to the Asylum for Wayward Girls before I become a danger to all?
Alcamahol makes the happiness happen! Aaaahhhhh.

I'm half packed, and the rest can be...ummm... laterers! (My suitcase is a hilarious sea of black.) For now is drinkings time!

Tomorrow I go to Nimbin and I am SO PLEASED. Nimbin! Yay! It is, in fact, one of my favourite places in the whole world. Made of pretty! Even if I am shit-poor, I don't care!

The rest of the LFoD are currently watching Greenwing, but since that is one of the British comedies I don't do I just get to drink and listen to music. Mmmmm, Maynard. He makes the sexy happen in the music. Sequioa said she was going to come over and join me once she'd showered, so I'll just sit here and imagine her naked and wet and writing until then. Oooooh yeeeeeah.

(Darker London: Alison is God and Master of my characters. I've told her she's allowed to do whatever she likes with him. You know, as long as it's in character. If I come back and find that Jude is a giggly pornstar and Scarlett a raving cock-whore, I'm going to be displeased.)
I think my spam filter has been eating emails that aren't actually spam >_< I only just discovered this today, because as if I'm dedicated enough to sort through the millions of spams I get every day. But hopefully I've fixed it now and it won't eat things anymore. So if you've emailed me and I never replied: Hi! I'm not being rude! I probably just didn't know! (It's gmail being rude.)

The sun is glaring in my window and making it rather difficult to see the screen. But I will soldier on through the hard times, baby. Because in nine days I'll be in Nimbin, so how can anything possibly be bad about that? Nimbin, baby! And mum's currently booking me tickets for Christmas in Tassie. I am a jet setting superstar and you better believe it, cupcake.

Mmmm, I wish I had a cupcake.

I am currently downloading Into the Woods, because my DVD of said musical is beyond dead. (Yes, Sequoia. A MUSICAL. Try not to vomit directly on your screen.) Downloading is taking forever. Grargh. But then Raen and I are going to sit round, eat crap, and sing along to fairy tales. I am SO HARDCORE you can barely comprehend it.

Aaaaand an email from mum just now informs me that Tasmania is 18th - 29th of December. Holy shit it's going to be weird to be back there.

(PS to Raen: Hilary Rhoda + Crystal Renn = Totally sisters. y/n?)
Circe says:
i didn't clean my room la la la
Alison says:
i knew you wouldn't. I knew today would be a "everything from the floor goes onto the bed till you want to sleep and then it'll go on the floor again" kind of day
Circe says:
waaa.
Circe says:
it's an inefficient system
Alison says:
it is
Alison says:
you should try my system
Alison says:
i don't move anything ever. it works well.
Alison says:
cept i don't know where my proper pajama pants are.

In other news: The line up for the Victoria's Secret show sucks big time. It's like they decided that last year they had too many attractive women walking and had to do something about it. So they took them out the back paddock and shot them. Now it's just boring unattractive models. Yes, I do care. Don't mess with gorgeous half naked women. It's a workable system right there. (I'm being over-dramatic. There are still a few gorgeous girls, but heaps of my favourites are missing.)

I get to go to my dad's for his birthday party at the end of this month, and I say yay! And I might be going home for a week at Christmas, which is another yay! I like visiting parentals. It's made of good.
