Twenty-six hours after we started, we have now completed our group viewing (for Alison's birthday) of the extended Lord of the Rings trilogy. Not so bad considering we actually stopped for long enough to do useful things like sleep and have breakfast, lunch, dinner and also play LotR trivial pursuit in the middle.

I am tearful and soft-hearted. Once Theodon dies I just don't really recover my wits after that.

The living room is covered in mattresses and Alison is now twenty-five years old. Those aren't really related but those are facts anyway.

Right now everyone and everything is lovely and wonderful. Such is the effect of LotR.
