Abandonments

I love old abandoned structures, falling apart and rusting, silent and decaying. I think they're all kinds of gorgeous. And so the fact that I just stumbled onto this site and I am now incredibly happy. Especially since it has abandoned amusement parks as well, which are pretty much one of the best things in the entire world. Because they are AWESOME. Oh hello, rusted roller-coaster and atmospheric fog. And this one is Chernobyltastic (being that this is the amusement park in Prypiat.)

Although, in general, the entire city of Prypiat is amazing and totally doesn't at all feel like you've walked into a video game where you will soon be torn apart by zombies. Nope, not even a little bit.

I should be sleeping, but I'm enjoying the eerie-pretty.

Oh yay, more links for me! I'll avoid all boat related ones. Ship wreaks and underwater stuff freaks me right out. I don't even know why. (I don't even like watching underwater bits in movies, or looking at pictures where things are underwater. Yeah, really. I clearly have some deep-seated ocean based trauma just begging to be revealed.)
