last night and deafness

Went out clubbing with my friends last night. I had forgotten how very, very loud it was. My poor ears. It’s only afterward that you really notice the after affect of being in that club. You’re half death and you stick of cigarette smoke. Which in turns makes my room smell like smoke. And my clothes. And my hair. And the car.

I don’t like that part so much.

Bah, but it’s worth it to be dancing there til the wee hours of the morning.

There was a Melbourne cover band there called the Killer Klowns. Evil clown mask at all. Heh, they were pretty cool and played some good stuff. And I got a place right near the stage so I could reach out and grab them. Good fun.

Then spent today with the same people and went out to hang on the waterfront. Little fair thing happening. Quite enjoyable and I don’t think I even got sunburnt like usual (the drawback of being a redhead ^_^)

And tonight Queer as Folk starts up again. Finally!
