oh, the lure of teh music!
Really, blame
matrix_rehashed for everything. She held me down and forced me to buy CD's.
...
Well, okay, she found the CD though! And said, "Is the the one you were looking for?"
Does it matter that I had demanded she search the stacks for Smashing Pumpkins? No. Still all her fault.
This is my story and I'm sticking to it. Cause I ended up buying two CD's and 3 Buffy DVD's and if I can't blame it on her then I'm naughty for spending that much cash.
There is logic here!
I also copied the CD she bought by A Perfect Circle.
me: You know, if I copy this is might become one of my obsessions.
her: Maybe...
me: No, look at past history. You introduce me to people. I become obsessed with them. Exibit A: Smashing Pumpkins. Exibit B: Something for Kater. Exibit C: may be sitting in this little bag.
Dammit. I hate it when I'm right. A Perfect Circle are cool. (and they have the guitarist from the Pumpkins!)
She's gonna come over on Friday and we're gonna watch Tru Calling and mock it while eating pizza and drinking (coke most likely, but I still have half a bottle of vodka in my cupboard. Prepare for the Tru Calling drinking game.)
I think my mum's overjoyed. Cause, you know, I'm being sociable. I'm guessing this by the fact that even thought I spent $60 at the CD shop she didn't say a word of badness about it. (Or maybe she was just proud of the saleness of it.)
mum: you should join some clubs or something. Meet some new people.
me: I meet new people all the time.
mum: internet people are not real people.
me: Of course. Except the part where they are.
mum: I mean that you don't know them in real life.
me: *cough*
goma_ness

persephone_20

mum: smartarse.
